THE REGIONAL LEAGUE STRUCTURE IN 2016/17 SEASON

According to the national standings in previous seasons Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia assured the following starting number of clubs for 2016/17 season:

  • Croatia - 3
  • Serbia - 3
  • Slovenia - 2
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina - 1
  • Macedonia - 1
  • Montenegro - 1

This number may be increased for 2 clubs in total with performances in 2015/16 season:

  • One additional place each will be assigned to the best two between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia in the 2015/16 national standings.


One additional place will be allocated with a wild card.

The coefficient is the sum of all victories clubs from a certain country achieve in a regular season divided by the number of clubs from that country.
