One of the most talented Montenegrin prospects Petar Popović signed a three-year contract with Budućnost VOLI.
Petar has recently led Montenegro U20 national team to the first place at European Championship B division and he will arrive to Podgorica from Sremska Mitrovica, where he played for Mega Leks last season.
He began his career at Lovćen, then wore the jersey of Greek side Nea Kifisia, before he signed with Mega midway through the last season.
Last season Popović averaged 8.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in Serbian National Championship.

Jedan od talentovanijih crnogorskih košarkaša, Petar Popović potpisao je trogodišnji ugovor sa Budućnost VOLI.
Petar je nedavno predvodio mladu reprezentaciju Crne Gore do osvajanja prvog mjesta na turniru B divizije prvenstva Evrope, a u Podgoricu stiže iz Sremske Mitrovice, gdje je u prošloj sezoni nosio dres Mega Leksa.
Karijeru je počeo u Lovćenu, potom je nosio dres grčkog Nea Kifisija, pre nego što je sredinom prošle sezone potpisao za Megu.
U prošloj sezoni u srpskom domaćem prvenstvu Popović je u prosjeku beležio 8,2 poena, 1,6 skoka i 1,2 asistencije po meču.
