Story of the game: Many important things occurred in Zadar during the summer, including the arrival of new head coach Ante Matulović. The team roster also went through many changes, but one thing will always stay the same about this club and that is – Zadar will always do everything to win in front of their fans.
The hosts hope that many fans will come to “Krešimir Ćosić” Arena on Friday evening in order to help the team start the new season with a win. To do so, Zadar will need to defeat the club which returns to the regional league after many years – FMP.
Speaking about the visitors, they haven’t made so many changes in roster this summer. FMP have a very young and talented group of players which will be a dangerous opponent to every ABA League team, regardlessly whether they are playing home or away.
Matchup in focus: Both teams have excellent point guards which are the leaders of their squads. On one side will be Jakov Vladović, on the other Filip Čović. Many things in this match will be decided by their performance.
