Story of the game: The clash of Krka and Karpoš Sokoli will take place in Novo mesto, where history will be written since the Skopje side will make their first ever ABA League appearance against the well-established regional league member Krka.
Both teams have not been too impressive in the preseason period with 42% (Krka) and 43% (Karpoš Sokoli) success rate in their preparation games ahead of the season. However, Krka got a huge morale boost recently, as they have defeated Helios Suns in the Slovenian Supercup game, which got them their first trophy of the season.
On the other side, Sokoli have offered a tremendous battle in the final of the Macedonian Supercup several days ago and left good impression. This time, they will do their best to represent themselves in the best light possible to the basketball fans of the whole region. They for sure will not disappoint.
Krka will be without Klemen Kužnik this time around and possibly also without Imran Polutak, while at Karpoš Sokoli side, everyone is healthy.
Match-up in focus: Dragan Labović will for sure be one of the most remarkable names at Karpoš Sokoli this season, as he returned to the region after several years spent abroad. On the other side, his main competitor in the paint will be Marko Luković, who had an amazing last season in the ABA League and wants to continue in the same way. Can he do it?
