Story of the game: Igokea are set to host Cibona in the last game of the first round of the 2016/17 ABA League season. It will be a battle of two well-established ABA League sides and two that were pretty successful in the preseason period. Cibona won 6 of their 7 preparation encounters, while Igokea lost two out of just as many played.
In the final test ahead of the season, Igosi have suffered a blowout in Bar in the Qualifications for the FIBA Champions League, the game which was played on Thursday.
