Story of the game: Both sides had a successful start of the new ABA League campaign. Budućnost VOLI stunned Cedevita on the road, while Zadar prevailed over FMP at home court in a very thrilling match.
Now, they face each other in Podgorica, in the Round 2 opener.
Budućnost VOLI still face 3 injuries (JR Reynolds, Suad Šehović and Nemanja Gordić), but the Blue squad have already showed that they have plenty of quality players who can step in and take responsibility down on the court.
Zadar are coming to Podgorica without injury problems, with a clear goal to stay on the winning path after defeating FMP in the opening match of the new season. If Ivan Marinković repeats his incredible performance from the 1st round (41 index points), or if some other player has the stats like that, the visitors may take the whole package on Sunday.
