INTERVIEW: James Robinson - We'll do everything we can to make the Playoffs

By averaging 16,7 points per match, James Robinson of Igokea is currently the 5th best scorer of 2016/17 ABA League season. And, more importantly, his team are winning the games!

Igokea won the last 3 games in ABA League and climbed to the 6th position on the standings, which is why we decided to make an interview with their star player - James Robinson.

Igokea are on a 3-win streak, what is the atmosphere inside the team?

"We have a good team atmosphere right now and want to continue getting better as a team as the season continues."

What are your impressions about the ABA League?

"The competitiveness of each game and how great the fans are across the league is what impresses me about the ABA league."

Which player was the toughest to play against in this season and which ABA League team has left the best impression so far?

"Marcus Williams was the toughest match up because he can score or assist every time he touches the basketball. Crvena zvezda as a team left the best impression on me."

If some of your friends were to sign with some ABA League club what would be your advice for him?

"I would tell my friends to make sure they are prepared to play against other really good players and that each game is going to be very hard fought."

How do you spend your free time?

"Playing video games or on FaceTime with my friends back home."

How far can Igokea go in this ABA League season?

"We will take it one game at a time and do everything we can to possibly make the Playoffs."

Džejms Robinson - "Učinićemo sve što možemo da se plasiramo u plej-of"

Sa prosekom of 16.7 poena po utakmici, Džejms Robinson iz Igokee je trenutno peti najbolji strelac u sezoni 2016/17 u ABA ligi. Ali, ono što je još važnije u celoj toj priči jeste da njegov tim pobedjuje!

Igokea je upisala 3 pobede zaredom u ABA ligi, kakva je sada atmosfera u svlačionici?

"Trenutno je atmosfera zaista odlična, a kako sezona bude odmicala želimo da kao tim delujemo sve bolje i bolje."

Kakvi su vaši utisci o ABA ligi?

"Svaka utakmica je veoma neizvesna i uzbudljiva, a navijači su fantastični svugde gde igramo. To su stvari koje su me posebno impresionirale ovde u ABA ligi."

Protiv kojeg igrača u ABA ligi ste imali najteži zadatak ove sezone, a koji tim je na vas ostavio najveći utisak?

"Duel sa Markusom Vilijamsom je bio najteži, jer on može da poentira ili da asistira svaki put kada dođe u kontakt sa loptom. Što se tiče tima, Crvena zvezda je ostavila najveći utisak na mene."

Ako bi neki od vaših prijatelja dolazili u ABA ligu, šta biste im prvo savetovali?

"Rekao bih im da budu spremni da igraju protiv veoma dobrih igrača i da očekuju veliku borbu u svakoj utakmici."

Kako provodite slobodno vreme?

"Igram video igrice i razgovaram sa svojim prijateljima iz Amerike preko Fejstajma."

Koji su dometi Igokee u ovoj sezoni ABA lige?

"Razmišljamo samo o svakoj sledećoj utakmici, a učinićemo sve što možemo da se plasiramo u plej-of."
