BCL: Two games, two defeats for ABA League teams

Mornar and Mega Leks suffered road defeats in the 13th round of the Basketball Champions League. Both teams got defeated by the same result...

This was definitely not a good day for ABA League teams in the Basketball Champions League.

Everything started with the match in Lithuania, where Juventus were better than Mornar. The boys from Bar had a double-digit lead after the 1st quarter (24:14), however then they stopped for some reason and let the hosts take over the control over the match. Juventus dominated the 2nd and the 3rd quarter and gained +14 lead before entering the last 10 minutes (63:49). Mornar could not return from that deficit so the final result was 82:74 for Juventus.

Unfortunately, Mega Leks suffered a very similar defeat. They played against Oostende away and were also in the lead after the opening quarter (21:16). But, the Belgian team turned the things around in their advantage during the 2nd and the 3rd quarter and stayed in front until the end. The final score was the same as the one in Lithuania - 82:74 for Oostende.
