First win for Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia suffered defeats

Montenegro scored their first win in the 2019 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers after beating Belarus on the road. Nemanja Radović was leading the Montenegrin troops with 19 points, while Blagota Sekulić also had a great game as he collected 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Croatia are still winless in the 2019 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers as they suffered a home defeat against Italy. Despite winning the 1st quarter by 23:15, Croatian squad had a lot of troubles in defending against Italian 3-pointers. At the end of the game, Italy scored 12 three-pointers and won the match quite convincing. 

Darko Planinić was the top scorer in Croatia with 20 points. 

Finally, Slovenia played a good game against Spain on the road, however they suffered defeat at the end. The key moment was the start of the 4th quater, when the Spanish team made a 9:0 run and gained the crucial lead. 

Gašper Vidmar had impressive stats in this match - 24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, overall index rating 30, while Vlatko Čančar added 19 points for Slovenia.
