EC: Defeats for Cedevita and Partizan NIS

In the 8th round of the EuroCup Regular Season there was no luck for the ABA League sides Cedevita and Partizan NIS.

Cedevita were defeated on the road against Andorra, and even though they did not display poor performance, it was not enough due to slow start to the game, where Andorra have grabbed themselves a 7-point lead after 10 minutes. The final score was 78:71 in favour of the hosts. For Cedevita, Will Cherry led the way in scoring with 15 points, while Džanan Musa added 12.

In the other game of the ABA League sides in the EuroCup on the same day, Partizan NIS were defeated at home by Bilbao Basket. The guests were the better of the two sides for the majority of the game, but despite that, Partizan made the game interesting in the second half. With 10 minutes remaining on the game clock, they were only 4 points behind, but then Bilbao won the last quarter by 12 points and prevailed with the score of 83:67. Nigel Williams-Goss was the most efficient in the black and white squad with 18 points and Novica Veličković followed him with 13.

A day before, Budućnost VOLI were defeated by Galatasaray on the road in Istanbul.
