Croatia have stayed in the race for the 2019 FIBA World Cup as they defeated Netherlands at home court this Monday evening. That was the very first win for Croatia in the 2019 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers.

Still, Croatia failed to win the match by 7 or more points, which means that Netherlands will have better head to head score at the end of the group stage. And that can be quite important for the final standings.

Slovenia faced quite unexpected setback in the 2019 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers as they suffered a road defeat against Belarus. Klemen Prepelič had a chance to take this match into overtime, however he missed the 2nd free throw at the score of 93:92 for Belarus on 4 seconds before the end.

In the other match of Group A, Montenegro made a good performance against Spain on the road, but they did not manage to pull off a major upset.
