The king has fallen in Pionir Hall! Zvezda defeated Real Madrid!

What a night in Belgrade! Crvena zvezda Telekom has defeated the reigning European champions Real Madrid by 94:88 in the 7^th round of the Euroleague!

Fans of Crvena zvezda Telekom will forever remember the 27^th November! Because this was the day when the red and whites prevailed over the kings of Europe! In front of more than 7.000 fans in Pionir Hall, boys led by Dejan Radonjić made a historic win.

They opened the game amazingly as they had a double digit lead already after the first quarter - 28:18… Still, it was only a matter of time when will Real Madrid catch-up... The visitors started melting the margin. It was 46:43 at the halftime, while the Spanish powerhouse had a perfect beginning of the second half as they completely turned the things around - It was 53:63 at the scoreboard, Real Madrid was cruising toward a win.

But then Quincy Miller started his one-man show! American player single-handedly returned Crvena zvezda Telekom into this game with 11 consecutive points! It was only +1 for the away crew before the last 10 minutes - 66:67. The red and whites felt that they can go all the way to the end and they continued in the same rhythm. Only, this time they had a different leader - Maik Zirbes.

German international dominated inside the paint, while with some fantastic roles of youngsters Nikola Rebić and Marko Gudurić home team once again went ahead - 88:81!!! Real Madrid did try to make another comeback, but Zirbes was perfect from a free-throw line and Crvena zvezda Telekom defeated the European champion by 94:88.
