Cedevita defeated Zadar by 74:70 and won the Croatian National Cup for the third year in a row!

It is never easy to beat Zadar at their court, especially when they have support from 10.000 loud fans from the stands... But, Cedevita did it! And picked up a prestigious trophy along the way...

In the big finals of the Croatian National Cup that was played in the packed Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Zadar, Cedevita outplayed the hosts of the tournament after a thrilling ending.

Cedevita were in front throughout the whole second half, but Zadar kept coming back... Just one minute before the end of the game, Ivan Marinković scored a two-pointer, increased the margin to 70:68 and got fouled in the process! But, he missed a free-throw and the visitors collected a rebound. Cedevita had 10.000 people against themselves in that crucial play, but Nemanja Gordić was cold as ice, as he made a key three-pointer for 73:68, with only 35 seconds remaining on the clock.

There was not enough time for Zadar to make one more comeback and Cedevita won their 4th trophy in the Croatian National Cup. It is also interesting to mention that it was the 3rd trophy in a row for the Zagreb crew in this competition.
