MVP of December: Nikola Janković (Olimpija Ljubljana)

The third month of the 2016/17 season is behind us and we have the third monthly MVP this season. It is Olimpija Ljubljana's center Nikola Janković, who has also earned himself the MVP 13th round award previously.

Nikola Janković has proven, throughout the month of December, his dominance at the ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and although he did not finish the month as the statistically the most efficient player, he deserved himself the award with his contribution to the team's success – Olimpija Ljubljana have jumped from the bottom of the standings to 7th place this month thanks to their four wins in five games played!

Former Serbia youth categories national team member averaged 17.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, just as many steals, 1.2 blocks and a valuation of 23.6 during the games against Krka (twice), Mega Leks, Zadar and Cedevita, which puts him on the third place in the rankings in valuation for December, behind Ante Žižić of Cibona and Džanan Musa of Cedevita. However, Olimpija had the most successful month, winning four games with Janković aboard, which turned out to be decisive in the end.
