At the match of the 2nd round between Zadar and Cedevita, Will Cherry achieved 17 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assist, 2 steals and a valuation of 27 in just as many minutes spent on court. Only Jordan Morgan of Petrol Olimpija (39) and Dylan Ennis of Mega Bemax (33) had higher valuations this round, but they did not manage to take their teams to victories.

Therefore, fact that Cherry did not use his quality just to rise on the top of the statistical categories, but also helped his team to beat Zadar, is what earned him the MVP of the round honours.

Take a look at some of the fancy plays made by Will Cherry during his performance against Zadar:

The other players that have marked the 1st round of the season with their individual performances are the top scorers Jordan Morgan of Petrol Olimpija and Taylor Rochestie of Crvena zvezda mts (26 points each), top rebounder Jordan Morgan of Petrol Olimpija (12 rebounds), top passer Filip Čović of FMP (12 assists) and top ball thiefs Devin Oliver of Petrol Olimpija and Dylan Ennis of Mega Bemax (4 steals each).
