Filip Barović extended with Budućnost VOLI for the next 2 seasons
Filip Barović was a well-known name for Budućnost VOLI fans when he was arriving to Podgorica this summer. He used to play for this club between 2008 and 2011 and this season he decided to extend the cooperation with the Podgorica side for two more seasons.

“I have returned to Budućnost VOLI after a season, which I had spent with Telekom Bonn. As I have returned I had certain expectations, but I quickly realized that with new management, Budućnost VOLI is a completely new club. I have fit into the system of functioning perfectly nad I am extremely happy with the established system where home players are in focus. I am satisfied with the way we cooperate together with the coaching staff and the club’s management and it is the basic reason due to which I have decided to sign this 2-year deal. I believe that as a compact and well-organized team we have played well so far this season. We have worked more than we have expected and now, as the season approaches its end, our expectations are the highest. After 6 years spent in other clubs I feel like I have returned home,” Barović stated as the extension of cooperation was made official.
Filip Barović is averaging 5.6 points alongside 2.6 rebounds per game in the ABA League this season.

Filip Barović produžio sa Budućnošću za naredne 2 godine
Filip Barović je ime koje navijači Budućnost Volija dobro znaju. Igrao je za taj klub u periodu od 2008. do 2011. godine, a ove sezone je odlučio da svoj angažman produži za još dvije godine.
"U Budućnost Voli sam došao nakon sezone koju sam odigrao za Telekom Bon. Kao povratnik, imao sam određena očekivanja, ali već prvih dana mi je bilo jasno da je sa novom upravom na čelu, Budućnost VOLI savim novi klub. Savršeno sam se uklopio u način funkcionisanja i izuzetno zadovoljan uspostavljenim sistemom u kojem se prevashodno računa na domaće igrače. Veoma sam zadovoljan saradnjom sa stručnim štabom i upravom kluba i to je osnovni razlog zbog kojeg sam odlučio da potpišem ovaj dvogodišnji ugovor. Smatram da smo kao kompaktan i dobro organizovan tim dobro igrali u dosadašnjem toku sezone. Radili smo i više nego što smo očekivali, a sada, na kraju sezone, naša su očekivanja najviša. Poslije 6 godina igranja u drugim klubovima, osjećam se kao da sam se vratio svojoj kući," izjavio je Barović povodom produžetka saradnje sa svojim klubom.
Barović u ovoj sezoni u prosjeku postiže 5,6 poena uz 2,6 skoka po meču u ABA ligi.
