EL: Zvezda made a good performance, but CSKA were too strong

Crvena zvezda mts suffered a road defeat against CSKA Moscow in the last round of the 2017/18 EuroLeague regular season.

Losing against the top placed team in EuroLeague on the away court is not a shame and Crvena zvezda mts squad can be proud on their performance against the mighty opponent. The red & whites even had the lead after the first half - 44:37, however the Russians increased the pace after the break and made a quick comeback. CSKA Moscow scored no less than 55 points in the second half and won the match by 92:81.

Still, this was an excellent test for the Belgrade crew in front of the most important week in their season. Recall that Crvena zvezda mts are about to face Budućnost VOLI in the ABA League Finals...
