PRESEASON: Victories for Cedevita, Cibona, Budućnost and Mornar | Olimpija suffered defeat

Many ABA League teams are playing their last prep games this weekend, as next week they will travel to Laktaši to participate at the 2018 ABA Super Cup. And most of them were victorious this Saturday evening. 

Cibona and Cedevita have defeated their opponents in the semifinals of Dubrava Cup (a frinedly tournament which is being played in Zagreb) and they will face each other on Sunday evening in the Final. Cibona scored quite a convincing win against the hosts Dubrava - 136:61, with Nik Slavica leading the scorer's list with 28 points.

On the other side, Cedevita had no problems beating GKK Šibenik - 108:66, with Filip Krušlin and Elgin Cook sharing the top scorer award as they both finished the match with 15 points.

Budućnost VOLI have successfully started their participation at the friendly tournament in Brindisi, Italy, as they prevailed over Turkish side Sakarya BSB in the semis - 81:69. Nemanja Gordić was in his "2018 ABA League Playoffs" mode as he dropped 25 points in this match. Budućnost VOLI will face the tournament hosts Happy Casa Brindisi in the Final, and that game is scheduled for Sunday at 20:15.

Mornar scored a win against Russian side Novosibirsk in their last preseason match this summer - 84:81. Khadeen Carrington shined in the winning team by scoring 23 points.

Finally, Petrol Olimpija faced Italian team Trieste and suffered defeat - 72:89. The newcomer Marvin Jones was the top scorer in Olimpija's squad with 16 points, while this was the last prep game for the Dragons before the start of the new season.
