Game recap: Crvena zvezda mts have showed their full power in the 1st official game of the new season as they defeated Petrol Olimpija by 86:60 in the quarterfinals of 2018 ABA Super Cup. The red & whites will therefore face Cedevita in the semis and that match is scheduled for Saturday at 20:30.
Key moments: Zvezda were down by 8 points after the opening quarter – 20:28, but then they started dominating the court. The boys coached by Milan Tomić improved their defense so much that they have conceded just 32 points in the next 3 quarters! On the other side of the court, Maik Zirbes, Billy Beron and the others were simply unstoppable for their rivals, so it was clear quite soon that the red & white squad would score a comfortable win.
