RWBL: 11th season about to begin

In the Group A the teams ZŠIS-POK (Slovenia), KIK Sana (Sanski Most), KKI Zagreb (Zagreb) and KIK Zmaj (Gradačac) will compete, while in the Group B, there will be KKI Vrbas (Banja Luka), KKK Singidunum (Belgrade), KIK Una Sana (Bihać) and RBB Flingstones (Graz) competing.

Just like in the seasons before, the ABA League will be the partner of the competition and the league and its clubs will help promoting the competition, while the players and head coaches will be regular guests at the tournaments and the games of the Regional Wheelchair Basketball League.

As the 11th season is about to tip-off, the league’s chairman Gregor Gračner told: “After 10 seasons, a new page is being written in this success story. There are several novelties this season in the league. The first is that eight teams are participating. There has also been a huge step made in promotion of the competition, in participation with media and local communities. We also have a brand-new website and have activated the clubs to promote the competition. The final tournament will take place on 13 April in Vransko, Slovenija and the municipality will be the sponsor of the Finals. We will also start the new TV show, promoting the league. Let the best team in the SE Europe win the trophy!”
