BCL: Petrol Olimpija defeated by Bayreuth

In the sixth round of the Basketball Champions League season, Petrol Olimpija have suffered a defeat at home in Stožice Arena by German side medi Bayreuth.

Petrol Olimpija have suffered their fifth defeat of the European season in six games played so far, at home in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana. They were defeated by German side medi Bayreuth, due to their poor performance in the last quarter of the game.

The Dragons were the ones that were in front throughout the majority of the game and led by 2 points as the third quarter ended. The Germans have, however, turned the flow of the game completely upside down in the last quarter and celebrated a 76:67 win.

For the Green and white, Miha Lapornik led the way in scoring with 17 points, while Mirza Begić and Scottie Reynolds added 14 apiece.
