ABA League clubs are facing new challenges in the European competitions. Budućnost VOLI will have two EuroLeague games this week. They firstly travel to Russia to face Khimki on Wednesday in the 8th round of the 2018/19 EuroLeague season. The reigning ABA League champions are approaching this match in high spirits, as they scored 3 very important wins in the last 10 days. They firstly won the local derby against Mornar, then they scored their 1st EuroLeague win in this season win by beating Baskonia and finally they triumphed in the big match against Partizan NIS last weekend.

Only two days after the away game against Khimki, Budućnost VOLI will play against another Russian team - CSKA Moscow! That match will be played in Podgorica and have no doubt that it will be a true basketball spectacle.

The only undefeated team in the 2018/19 ABA League season Crvena zvezda mts have a very important EuroCup match scheduled for Tuesday evening, as they will play against MoraBanc Andorra on the road. Both teams currently have the same overall score - 4 wins and 3 defeats, so this is a direct battle for the next stage tickets. In the first part of the season Zvezda defeated Andorra by 85:79.

Partizan NIS, Cedevita and Mornar will play their EuroCup games on Wednesday.

Partizan NIS will host Valencia and that match might be crucial for the black & whites in the race for the next stage. There is no doubt that the Belgrade team will have a huge support from their fans and they will altogether try to break the Spanish powerhouse, who is currently holding the top place in Group C.

Cedevita have a nice chance to book a place in the next stage this week. They will host the last placed team in Group B - Arka Gdynia and if they win the match and if Limoges suffer defeat against Alba, then Cedevita will definitely qualify for the TOP 16.

Mornar have an extremely difficult task this week, as they will play against a former EuroLeague team Unicaja Malaga, on the road. Still, it will be a nice chance for this team to see how much they can do against one of the best teams in the competition.

As far as FIBA Champions League is concerned, Petrol Olimpija will go to Istanbul to face Besiktas. The Dragons have changed their head coach (Aleskandar Nikitović replaced Zoran Martič) so we are about to see what will be the team reaction.
