2019 WC Qualifiers: Win for Serbia, defeat for BiH

On the fourth Gameday of the 2019 World Cup European Qualifiers, Serbia have grabbed a big home win in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade against Greece. On the other hand, BiH suffered a home defeat against Finland in Zenica.

Serbia are celebrating an extremely important home win in the 2019 World Cup European Qualifiers, as they have beaten the leading Greece in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall with the score of 84:61. The guests have been the better of the two sides throughout the match and led comfortably for the majority of the game after going up by 15 points (29:14) already in the opening quarter. In the remainder of the game they have just easily controlled the flow of the game until the end. For Serbia, the top scorer was Stefan Jović with 22 points, while Vasilije Micić and Miroslav Raduljica had 13 apiece.

In the other game of the ABA League countries of the day in European 2019 World Cup Qualifiers, Bosnia and Herzegovina have been defeated by Finland at home in Zenica, after they have been a better opponent throughout the game, but allowed Finland to get back into the game late in the game and come up with a major comeback. The Finns were down by 18 points after 30 minutes, but won the last quarter 36:14 and won eventually with the score of 81:77. For BiH, Miralem Halilović was the top scorer with 20 points, while Emir Sulejmanović added 12.
