While waiting for the next ABA League round, let's keep our fingers crossed for all regional clubs who are playing in European competitions this week.

ABA League clubs are facing new challenges in the European competitions. After losing to CSKA Moscow on the road last week, Budućnost VOLI return to Podgorica where they have won the previous 3 games in EuroLeague. Now, they will try to extend that winning streak in the match against another Russian powerhouse - Khimki. Victory against such a powerful team would certainly mean so much to the Blue squad for the rest of the season, especially if we know that they need every piece of confidence in their big battle for the 2nd spot in ABA League.

As far as EuroCup is concerned, the last week of TOP 16 stage won’t have any significance for ABA League teams as all 3 of them have already stayed without chances for advancing to the next stage. Crvena zvezda mts will host Unicaja Malaga, Partizan NIS will face Alba Berlin on the road, while Cedevita will play against Zenit Saint Petersburg at home.

The same situation is in FIBA Champions League where Petrol Olimpija will play their final game in the competition. The Dragons cannot advance to the next stage, but they will try to at least finish their European journey with a win against Besiktas in Ljubljana.
