National Cups: Wins for Cibona, Cedevita, FMP and Partizan NIS

On Thursday night, Cibona, Cedevita, FMP and Partizan NIS were victorious in their domestic cups actions. Cibona and Cedevita will fight for the trophy in the final in Croatia.

The domestic cups action is going on in the ABA League countries. And as in Croatia, Cibona and Cedevita have entered the finals, in Serbia FMP and Partizan NIS have advanced to the Semifinals.

In Croatia, Cibona were better than Zadar in the first Semifinal game, which was an exciting one, just like it has been expected from the two ABA League sides. Cibona prevailed in the end with the score of 83:81, thanks to their excellent first half, after which they were ahead by 14 points. For Cibona, Josip BIlinovac had 22 points, while for Zadar Mario Little scored 29.

In the second game, Cedevita have beaten Gorica convincingly with the score of 93:63. For the Zagreb squad, Elgin Cook led the way in scoring with 20 points.

In Niš, the Serbian National Championship Quarterfinals were opened with the convincing wins of FMP against Sveti Đorđe and Partizan NIS against Novi Pazar.

FMP have beaten Sveti Đorđe with the score of 112:58 with Stefan Đorđević being on top of the list of scorers with 20 points.

Partizan NIS have prevailed over Novi Pazar with the score of 112:72. Đorđe Gagić was the most efficient in the black and white squad, as he scored 27 points.
