Crvena zvezda mts vs. Budućnost VOLI – Who will prevail this time?
For the 3rd straight season these two teams will face each other in the ABA League Playoffs!

As you all already know Crvena zvezda mts and Budućnost VOLI will play in the 2019 ABA League Finals. It will be the clash of the last two regional champions and the replay of the last season Finals.
Actually, this will be the 3rd straight season these two teams will face each other in the ABA League Playoffs!
Crvena zvezda mts faced Budućnost VOLI in the 2016/17 ABA Semi-Finals in the best-of-3 series. The red & whites had the home court advantage and they fully used it by winning both games in Belgrade and therefore winning the series by 2-1 (82:67, 57:63, 82:59).
One year later, in the 2017/18 season, Crvena zvezda mts and Budućnost VOLI met in the ABA League Finals. This time it was the best-of-5 series, while the red & whites once again had the home court advantage. However, they lost it already in the opening match as Budućnost VOLI triumphed in Belgrade in Game 1. Zvezda tied the score in Game 2, but then the squad from Podgorica clinched two thrilling wins in Sports Center Morača to win their first ever ABA League title – 1-3 (76:80, 69:59, 77:78, 73:77).
Now, it time for another Red vs. Blue clash. The 2019 ABA Finals will start on Friday, April 12 and the next regional champion will be the first team to score 3 wins.
