WC: Serbia finished fifth

In their last game at the 2019 FIBA World Cup, Serbia have beaten Czech Republic and have finished fifth.

Serbia are the fifth placed team of the 2019 FIBA World Cup. This became clear after their last game at the big tournament, where they have prevailed over the Czech Republic in the 5th place game.

The squad, led from the bench by head coach Aleksandar Đorđević did not start the game just the way they have desired, as they fell behind in the opening half by 9 points (41:50). However, they came up with a major comeback in the third quarter and they were up by 7 before the last quarter.

In the last period, they managed to stay in front and they celebrated a 90:81 win in the end. Bogdan Bogdanović scored 31 points for Serbia, while Nikola Milutinov added 14.
