As you all already know, three ABA League teams will participate in the 2019/20 EuroCup season. Those are Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita Olimpija and Partizan NIS, while all of them will begin their European journey this week.

The first one to get on the court will be Partizan NIS, as the black & whites will face Italian champions Umana Reyer Venezia on Tuesday evening. The Belgrade troops are approaching this match in excellent mood, as they won the 2019 ABA Super Cup and their one and only plan at this moment is to stay on the winning path.

Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija will play their games on Wednesday.

Budućnost VOLI are facing quite a difficult task, as they are about to challenge Spanish side Unicaja Malaga on the road. These two teams faced each other in EuroCup three years ago, with Unicaja Malaga taking the win in both games. Perhaps, now it is time for Budućnost VOLI to finally beat the Malaga based squad.

Cedevita Olimpija will open the new EuroCup season at home court against Turkish team Darussafaka Tekfen. The Dragons suffered defeat in the 2019 ABA Super Cup Final, but they have played some pretty good basketball during the tournament. Therefore, everyone in Ljubljana expect that the green & orange troops will begin the European journey with a win.
