Story of the game: Crvena zvezda mts will host Igokea in the last match of Round 6.
In the past couple of years Crvena zvezda mts were quite dominant in the games against Igokea. The red & whites have defeated the squad from Laktaši seven times in a row in the regional league, while this Monday evening the reigning ABA League champions want to increase that streak.
However, what is also important to mention is that Igokea haven’t always been on the losing side in the head to head games against Crvena zvezda mts.
Actually, the boys from Laktaši can brag about having a pretty decent score in Belgrade, where they have beaten Zvezda in 3 out of 8 games. Not many teams from our region can say that they have scored so many away wins against the Belgrade powerhouse. The only problem for Igokea is that they scored their last win against Crvena zvezda mts four years ago...
Match-up in focus: Crvena zvezda mts shooting guard Billy Baron has improved his form significantly in the past couple of weeks and he should once again be one of the main offensive powers for the red & white team.
