Former Brooklyn Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead pens deal with Mornar

Mornar made another major signing as they have signed a deal with American guard Isaiah Whitehead until the end of the season!

This 24-year old guard is already used to European basketball as he spent the first part of the 2019/20 season in Kazakhstan where he played for Astana, while before that he spent one season in Russian giant Lokomotiv Kuban.

Isaiah Whitehead has played two seasons in the NBA (2016/17 and 2017/18), both with the Brooklyn Nets. In his rookie season Whitehead played 73 games for the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists along the way. In his 2^nd season in the NBA, he made 16 appearances for the Brooklyn Nets and averaged 6.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

It is expected that Whitehead will make his Mornar debut in Round 18 of the 2019/20 ABA League regular season when his new team will play against Zadar on the road.

Vajthed novi Mornar

Novi član Mornara je američki internacionalac Ajzea Vajthed (24 god, 193cm).

Vajthed je do nedavno branio boje kazahstanske Astane, igra na pozicijama “jedinice” i beka šutera a u svojoj karijeri ima dvije sezone provedene u NBA ligi (2016-2018) i to u dresu Bruklina. Amerikanac je u Evropi igrao pored Astane i u ruskoj Lokomotivi Kubanj koja je takođe član VTB lige a 2016. stigla je do fajnal fora Evrolige.

U svojoj ruki sezoni novi član barskog abaligaša odigrao je čak 73 utakmice za Netse tokom kojih je prosječno bilježio 7,4 poena, 2,6 asistencije i 2,5 skokova po utakmici.

Za svoj novi klub trebalo bi da debituje protiv Zadra u 18. kolu ABA lige. Ugovor je potpisao na tri mjeseca, do kraja ABA lige.
