Budućnost VOLI are the new Montenegrin National Cup winners, as they have prevailed over Mornar in the final of the competition.

Budućnost VOLI are celebrating their 13th national cup trophy, as they have prevailed over Mornar of Bar in the final of the Cup competition on Friday. The blue and white of Podgorica have first prevailed over Lovćen 1947 Bemax of Cetinje in the Semi-final in a close game by only 3 points and continued in the successful fashion in the final.

In the trophy game, Petar Mijović’s squad went up by 10 points already in the opening quarter (24:14) and then managed to control the flow of the game until its end, then they have celebrated a 92:83 win.

For the winning side, Justin Cobbs led the way in scoring with 21 points, while Suad Šehović and Petar Popović added 14 apiece. For Mornar, Jacob Pullen had 25 points and Milko Bjelica 19.
