ABA League Round 6, Wednesday, 30 December 2020:

FMP - CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA

Where? FMP Sports Hall, Belgrade

When? 21:00

Story of the game: FMP are about to host Cedevita Olimpija on Wednesday evening in postponed game of Round 6.

FMP are on a 6-game losing streak in ABA League, while they have lost 9 out of their previous 10 games in the regional competition. On top of all that they suffered two shocking defeats in the last two weeks in the games in which they were up by 10 points in the 4th quarter. The Panthers scored their last win on November 2, so they will be now looking for their first win after almost two months.

Cedevita Olimpija are in a much better situation as they have been scoring some pretty good results lately, however their winning streak ended last weekend when they suffered a home defeat against Mornar. Therefore, the Dragons' only goal in this game is to get back on the winning track and make another step toward the Playoffs.

Match-up in focus: Two of the league's best point guards will face each other in this game. FMP's star player Filip Čović is currently leading the 2020/21 ABA League Assists list with 7.2 assist per game, while Cedevita Olimpija's starting point guard Kendrick Perry is holding the 3rd place on this list with 6 assists per game. Their duel might decide the outcome of this game.

Head to head in the regional league: In total 0:2; In Belgrade 0:1.
