ABA League Round 13, Sunday, 3 January 2020:

SPLIT – PARTIZAN NIS

Where? Split Sports Hall, Split

When? 17:00

Story of the game: In the opening game of the Sunday’s ABA League schedule, Split will be hosting Partizan NIS at home in Dalmatia.

Both of the two squads are entering the clash following the defeats in their last ABA League appearances on court and will try their best in order to get back onto the winning track.

And while Split, with a 4:8 score, need to win to keep themselves a place in the middle of the ABA League standings, Partizan NIS, on the other side, with the 6:6 record, need to win desperately in order to stay in the Playoffs race.

It’s worth mentioning that Split have never ever beaten Partizan NIS in the regional competition, so they will have another motive on Sunday night, to end this tradition. Can they do it? Watch the game and find out!

Match-up in focus: Perhaps the most interesting match-up of the game will be the one between Split big guy Marko Luković and Rashawn Thomas on the other end. Both are known as the players that can score, but can any of them stop the other one? That might as well be the key to the win of one of the two squads on Sunday night.

Head to head in the regional league: in total 0:10; In Split 0:5.
