It's not over! Partizan NIS defeated Crvena zvezda Telekom in Game 3

Partizan NIS are still alive in the Playoffs Finals of the Serbian National Championship after they defeated Crvena zvezda Telekom on the road in Game 3.

The red and white side of Belgrade was ready to celebrate the championship title, but the black and white side ruined their party. Partizan NIS managed to make a break in the final series against Crvena zvezda Telekom and to reduce the overall score in the series to 1-2.

The away crew found themselves down by 3:13 pretty quickly in the opening quarter, however they approached to 27:29 until the end of the first half. Then, they went in front. Partizan NIS were ahead by 53:47 after the third quarter, thanks to unbelievable buzzer-beating three-pointer by Adin Vrabac, who made a shot from his side of the court.

Partizan NIS opened the last period with several more three-pointers and they escaped to 67:52 on 4 minutes before the end. But, then they started to panic! It was like the away crew got frightened by the idea that they could actually win this game, so they started making ridiculous mistakes. Crvena zvezda Telekom knew how to punish that.

The margin started melting rapidly, while the hosts approached to 70:73 on 50 seconds before the end and had a chance to tie the score! However, Marko Simonović missed a three-pointer.

Still, Crvena zvezda Telekom got another chance to take this game into the overtime, after Partizan NIS point guard Jamar Wilson made two silly mistakes in the final seconds, He firstly made an offensive foul, while he then dropped the ball out of bounds with just 6 seconds remaining on the clock.

Marko Simonović tired once again to tie the score, but his shot did not even hit the rim. Partizan NIS defeated Crvena zvezda Telekom.

Game 4 is scheduled for Thursday, June 9. Partizan NIS will be the host of that match.
