The action begins for U20 national teams

The U20 national teams of the ABA League countries are about to begin their journey at the U20 European Championships. While Serbia and Slovenia will compete in Division A in Helsinki, BiH, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro will have their selections competing in Division B in Chalkida.

The U20 national teams of the ABA League countries are about to begin their journey at the U20 European Championships. While Serbia and Slovenia will compete in Division A in Helsinki, BiH, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro will have their selections competing in Division B in Chalkida.

Less than a day remains until the beginning of the U20 European Championship of the Division B, where four national teams of the ABA League countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro will battle for promotion to the Division A.

Macedonia and Montenegro will compete in the Group A with Portugal, Armenia and Georgia, while BiH and Croatia were drawn in the Group D alongside with Bulgaria, Slovakia and Romania. The best two teams from each group will enter the Quarter-finals and the best three teams of the tournament will be promoted the the Division A.

A day later, a competition will begin in the Division A, where both Serbia and Slovenia will compete in the group C, where their rivals will be Ukraine and Latvia.

Unlike the Division B, all the teams from the group phase will continue competition in the round of 16 and will have a chance to reach the top regardless of their group stage score.
