Edo Murić leaves Partizan NIS - "You'll stay in my heart forever"

After two years of great love, Edo Murić and Partizan NIS will continue their basketball journey on separate paths.

Belgrade powerhouse confirmed that Edo Murić will leave the team this summer. It has not yet been confirmed where he will continue his career, but the latest rumors suggest that he might go to Turkey and join Banvit.

"Thank you Partizan and thank you black and white family for these beautiful two years, filled with memories. I wish you all the best in future. You will stay in my heart forever," wrote Murić on his Twitter account.

Murić spent the last two years in Partizan NIS, however several injuries prevented him of showing his full potential. Nevertheless, his numbers in the 2015/16 ABA League season were quite good, as he was averaging 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Before arriving in Partizan NIS, Murić played for Krka and TCG Mercator škofja Loka.
