Serbia have eliminated Croatia in the Quarter-final clash of two ABA League countries at the Olympic Games and reached the Semi-finals, where they will face Australia.

Serbia have eliminated Croatia in the Quarter-final clash of two ABA League countries at the Olympic Games and reached the Semi-finals, where they will face Australia.

Serbia are the last Semi-finalists of the Olympic Basketball Tournament, as they have come out as the better opponent from the clash of two ABA League national teams, against Croatia.

Aleksandar Đorđević"s men made the great success thanks to their excellent third quarter performance, when they have outgunned the Croats by 20 points, after previously being down by 6 points at half time. Croatia managed to make it an interesting game late in the fourth quarter, but they lacked time and energy to make a major comeback in the end.

The final score was 86:83 in favour of Serbia and while Bogdan Bogdanović was the top scorer of the winning Serbia side, Bojan Bogdanović was the top scorer of the game with 28 scored for Croatia.
