Jovan Novak new Mega Leks player

Mega Leks will be reinforced for the forthcoming part of the season, since talented point guard Jovan Novak signed a contract with the club.

Novak was delighted to have signed with the Sremska Mitrovica side: "I am happy for the opportunity that opened to me. Mega is an excellent side for young players and a club that is growing from year to year. It is my duty to give my best at the practices in order to fit into the team as fast as I can and help them in the forthcoming challenges in the ABA Leeague."

Jovan Novak began his professional career in 2012, playing for Vršac. Later in his career he also played for Radnički Kragujevac, Vojvodina, Polish Turow, Metalac Farmakom and Romanian Ploiesti.

With Serbia junior national team he won the silver medal at the U19 World Championship in 2013 and a year after he took the bronze at the U20 European Championship.

Last season he averaged 12 points, 5.8 assists and 2.2 rebounds in Serbian national championship, playing for Metalac Farmakom.

Jovan Novak novi član Mega Leksa

Mega Leks će u nastavak sezone ući dodatno pojačan pošto je ugovor sa klubom potpisao talentovani plejmejker Jovan Novak.

Novak je bio izuzetno zadovoljan zbog dolaska u klub: „Veoma sam srećan zbog prilike koja mi se pruža. Mega je sjajna sredina za mlade igrače i klub koji raste iz godine u godinu. Na meni je da dam sve od sebe na treninzima kako bih se što brže uklopio u ekipu i pomogao u izazovima koji slede u ABA ligi.“

Jovan Novak je seniorsku karijeru započeo 2012. godine u Vršcu a nastupao je još za Radnički Kragujevac, Vojvodinu, poljski Turov, Metalac i rumunski Ploješti.

Sa juniorskom reprezentacijom Srbije je 2013. godine osvojio srebrnu medalju na Svetskom prvenstvu za igrače do 19 godina a naredne godine sa mladom reprezentacijom bronzu na Evropskom prvenstvu za igrače do 20 godina.

Prošle sezone Novak je u dresu Metalca Farmakom u proseku postizao 12 poena, 5,8 asistencije i 2,2 skoka po utakmici u srpskom nacionalnom prvenstvu, igrajući za Metalac Farmakom.
