Game recap: From big deficit to very important win. That was the journey that Cedevita went through in Sremska Mitrovica against very talented squad of Mega Leks. The home team had +14 in the 2nd quarter (33:19), however Cedevita made a big comeback in the 3rd period, mostly thanks to Scotty Hopson who made 12 points in that quarter. The visitors had +6 before the final 10 minutes (65:59), while they managed to stay in front after a thrilling ending. This was the 3rd win in a row for Cedevita in 2016/17 ABA League season.

Key moments: Oh, what a finish that was. Scotty Hopson firstly scored a three-pointer just at the beginning of the final minute and pushed Cedevita in front (83:82). Mega Leks failed to score on the other side, so the hosts made a foul on David Stockton. Ognjen Jaramaz stormed inside the paint, but he missed a lay-up over Mirza Begić. With less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock, Mega Leks had to make one last foul and they made it on Luka Babić. He also scored just one free-throw, so Mega got another chance to take this game into overtime. And, they organized a very good play, Djordje Simeunović was all alone behind the 3pts line, but he missed the entire basket at the buzzer.

Man of the match: Scotty Hopson was the top scorer in the winning team with 23 points, and he made that crucial three-pointer in the last minute, but one other player of Cedevita also deserve to take the MVP award.
