ABA League Basketball Fantasy: Erjon Kastrati of Krka is the winner of 7th round!

For the first time since the ABA League Basketball Fantasy has started, an actual ABA League player has taken the title of the best player of the round – it is Erjon Kastrati of Krka with his team Batman!

It happens truly on rare occasions, but nothing else but this happened in the 7th round of ABA League Basketball Fantasy – an actual ABA League player has won the first place in a single round of the competition – it is Krka’s swingman Erjon Kastrati!

Kastrati, nicknamed Fidelcastro, has achieved the total team score of 246 in the 7th round with his team Batman, just 1 point more than the second placed team.

We have spoken about his success with Erjon, who was just as surprised as we were, as we have congratulated him. “This season me and my friends are playing the fantasy game for the first time and to be honest, I did not even know that we are competing in the overall rankings as well, since we have all just focused on our private league,” Kastrati told us, as we wished to know if his success comes from a long time of experience gathering while playing fantasy games.

We did not stop here, as we tried to uncover some of the secrets of his team-managing skills. Does his time spent at Krka’s practices, preparing for the games, help him to do better? “I believe that I have no special secrets. What happened was that I got lucky this round and picked the right players. But, of course, I am following the ABA League very closely and watch every game, if only I have time to do it.”

Does he ever count on himself or his teammates during the ABA League Basketball Fantasy season? “I never place myself into the team, but I do it with some of my teammates occasionally. However, I never tell them when and I choose not to reveal which of them were on my team this time around either,” Krka's number five concluded with a smile.
