Game recap: Two ABA League newcomers faced each other in the last match of the 2016. Karpoš Sokoli hosted Mornar in Skopje and they did not prepare any New Year's presents to the visitors. The home side dominated the match and scored a well-deserved win, while Mornar may some find comfort in the fact that they still have a better head to head score vs. Karpoš Sokoli. That might be very important at the  end of the regular season.

Key moments: Karpoš Sokoli had a flying start as they won the 1st quarter by 24:11! Mornar managed to reduce the margin a bit until the halftime, but then the home team increased the lead even more in the 3rd quarter and escaped to a safe distance.
