Story of the game: For the second time this season, Cedevita have edged out Cibona in the Zagreb city derby and they now have seventeen triumphs this season, which keeps them in the race for the second spot at the end of the regular season, meaning that they still can hope for the home court advantage in the Playoffs. Cibona, on the other hand, are keeping their 11-win record this season and will have to battle hard to achieve their goal and finish the regular season on the fifth place in the standings.

Key moments: Cibona have started the game off in a better fashion, leading by 7 after the opening quarter. By half time Cedevita cut their deficit to 5 and afterwards turned it around in the third, taking a 67:66 lead after 30 minutes. It remained anybody’s game all until the final minute, which Cedevita entered with 3 points of advantage (85:82). Cibona failed to score on their last five posessions and Cedevita maintained their advantage and triumphed in the end.

Man of the match: Ryan Boatright has been the key offensive contributor for Cedevita since he joined the team and this time was no different. He contributed 24 points, 4 rebounds, just as many assists, 2 steals and a valuation of 30 this time for the win of his team. He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Cibona were a better team in many of statistical categories this time, but in the end, Cedevita’s 2-point shot prevailed over them all. They shot 73% for 2 points from the field and Cibona did only 60%. This is what decided the winner.
