Celebration time at Višnjik! Zadar beat Union Olimpija and definitely avoided the last place in the 2016/17 ABA League regular season!

Game recap: It was the most important game in this season for Zadar. They knew that if they beat Union Olimpija they would definitely avoid the last place in the regular season. Therefore, more than 5,000 fans came to Krešimir Ćosić Arena to help the team achieve that goal... And, altogether they did it! Zadar defeated Union Olimpija at home court and scored their most important win in the 2016/17 season.
Key moments: Zadar were up by just 1 points with less than 3 minutes left on the game clock - 72:71, while then the home team made the crucial 8:0 run. Boris Barać firstly completed a 2+1 play for 75:71, then the same player made a 2-pointer for 77:71, while finally Jakov Vladović made a 3-pointer for 80:71. There was simply not enough time for Union Olimpija to make a comeback.
