On the question how he felt when receiving the applause Pozzecco commented: “I was happy. It meant a lot of me. I’m a stange kind of “dwarf”. I live basketball with lots of emotions. Everytime I sense that someone likes me a leave lots of positive emotions down on the court. When I used to be a basketball player I just played because of this. Now, as a coach it is more difficult to show the emotions and passion for basketball. It is not so easy to get that kind of contact with the fans.”

However, there is one special reason why this applause ment even more to him that it would in some other circumstances.

“I am from Trieste. I was watching lots of games of “your” basketball on your channel TV Koper – Capodistria. So I grew up watching all of your basketball players. I gained so much respect to your players from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia… from whole of former Yugoslavia. I know that you understand basketball. So it means a lot of me to receive this kind of respect from your fans,” Pozzecco added.
