Cibona advanced to Semi-finals in Croatia

In the decisive third game of the Croatian National Championship Quarter-finals, Cibona have beaten Zadar at home in Zagreb and became the last team to qualify for the Semi-finals, where they will meet Šibenik.

Cibona are the fourth team to qualify for the Croatian National Championship Semi-finals, after they have edged out Zadar in the decisive third game of the Quarters. The Damir Mulaomerović’s squad did not waste any time in order to create themselves a decisive advantage, having won the first quarter by 13 points already and maintained the advantage until the end easily. The final score was 88:66 in favour of Cibona.

Luka Žorić was the top scorer of Cibona with 18 points and he was followed with Domagoj Bošnjak and Željko Šakić, which had 16 points each. On the other end, Ivan Marinković had 15 points, while Mislav Brzoja added 12.

In the Semi-finals, Cibona will meet Šibenik, while in the other Semi-final pair, Cedevita will take on Split.
