Zvezda step away from the Finals in Serbia

In the first game of the Serbian National Championship Semi-finals, Crvena zvezda mts have beaten Mega Leks at their home court in Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall and are now only a step away from clinching their Finals berth.

The reigning ABA League champions Crvena zvezda mts have demonstrated their class already at the beginning of the Serbian National Championship Playoffs, as they have beaten Mega Leks at the start of their Playoffs series and are now only a step away from reaching the finals of the competition.

The red and white have created themselves the crucial advantage in the third quarter, when they were better than their opponents by no less than 13 points and have entered the second half with just as many in their favour.

In the second half, the hosts did not have many problems with protection of their lead and they have just cruised to the final victory with the score of 85:70. Ognjen Kuzmić (20 points) and Milko Bjelica (18) were the most efficient at the winning side, while Jovan Novak and Predrag Samardžiski contributed 15 each for Mega Leks.

In the second semi-final pair, Partizan NIS will host FMP a day later.
