Cedevita signed with American sharp-shooter Kevin Murphy
Excellent swingman, American Kein Murphy signed with Cedevita. He will arrive to Cedevita training camp from Chinese side Guangxi.

Kevin Murhpy attended the Tennessee Tech University and after his fourth NCAA season he was selected at the 2012 NBA Draft by Utah Jazz as the 17th pich in the second round.
He appeared in 17 NBA games and he also played in the NBA Summer Leagues for Utah, Golden State, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte and Orlando. He spent the most time in the NBA Summer League however. He played there for Reno Bighorns, Idaho Stambede and Grand Rapids Drive.
He played for the aforementioned Grand Rapids Drive last season and averaged 23 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 34 minutes on court per game and he also scored 3.16 three-point shots, averaging a shooting percentage of 41,5% from beyond the arc.
Murphy spent his international career in France with Strasbourg, in China with Zheijang and Guangsha and Japan with Hitachi Sun Rockers. He also played in the EuroLeague with Strasbourg.

Cedevita potpisala američkog šutera Kevina Murphyja
Ugovor s Cedevitom potpisao je vrhunski šuter, Amerikanac Kevin Murphy, koji će momčadi trenera Jure Zdovca pomoći na pozicijama beka i niskog krila. Murphy na pripreme Cedevite stiže iz kineskog kluba Guangxi.
Murphy je pohađao sveučilište Tennessee Tech, a nakon svoje četvrte NCAA sezone na draftu je 2012. godine izabran od strane Utah Jazza kao 17. pick druge runde.
U NBA ligi odigrao je 17 utakmica, a u ljetnim NBA ligama tijekom karijere nastupao je za Utah, Golden State, Los Angeles Lakerse, Charlotte i Orlando. Najviše je vremena proveo u razvojnoj NBA ligi. Tu je igrao za Reno Bighornse, Idaho te Grand Rapids Drive.
U prošloj sezoni za već spomenuti Grand Rapids Drive je u 45 utakmica u prosjeku bilježio 23 poena, 6 skoka i 1,5 asistenciju za 34 min. po utakmici, a pritom je po susretu zabijao 3,16 trica uz 41,5% šuta za tricu.
Što se tiče Murphyjeve internacionalne karijere, u Europi je igrao za Strasbourg u Kini za Zhejiang Guangsha, a u Japanu za Hitachi Sun Rockers. Sa Strasbougom je ujedno iskusio igranje u Euroligi.
