MZT victorious, Russians too strong for Zvezda and Zadar

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have concluded their preseason with a win over Bulgarian side Beroe. Crvena zvezda mts and Zadar have faced Russian rivals on Sunday's preseason day and they have both been defeated, by Unics and Khimki, respectively.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have a reason to smile at the end of the preseason, as they have edged out Beroe in their last test game, in Jane Sandanski Arena, with the final score of 78:71, after they have been the better of the two opponents for the majority of the game. The Skopje ABA League side led by 10 points before the beginning of the final quarter and have calmly brought the game to an end. Daniel Jansen topped the scoresheet for MZT with 20 points. Jure Lalić, Damjan Stojanovski and Bojan Trajkovski added 11 each. Check out all the scorers HERE.

Khimki have created themselves a crucial advantage in the second and third quarter, which they have won with 20 points of margin combined. They have managed to protect their lead until the very end of the clash, when the score was 72:58. For Zadar Luka Božić scored 17 points and was the most efficient. He was followed by Lovre Bašić, who scored 14. Check out all the scorers HERE.

Crvena zvezda mts have faced Unics Kazan at the tournament in Crete and have lost in the end in a tight game with the score of 73:68. The second quarter, which Zvezda have lost with the score of 20:11 turned out to be the decisive one, as the Russians have created themselves the advantage during this period and did not let go of their lead until the end. For the red and white Milko Bjelica and Matthias Lessort led the way in scoring, by contributing 15 points each. Check out all the scorers HERE.
