Game recap: In Stožice Arena, fans were able to see their favourite squad with the new name and new jerseys for the first time in an official game and they were satisfied as they were leaving the game, as their team put on an excellent performance to hold off last season’s fifth game of the ABA League Igokea. The green and white confirmed their supremacy in the overtime and not even a brilliant shooting night of Desmond Washington (35 points) could not prevent their triumph in the end.

Key moments: After they have forced the overtime, Igokea players have taken a 3-point lead at the beginning of the added period and everything seemed to be going their way. They were still in front by a two points (89:91) with two minutes on the clock, but Jordan Morgan and Talor Battle then combined 5 straight points for the squad of Ljubljana for a 94:91 lead with less than 40 seconds left. Igokea never recovered until the end.

Man of the match: Jordan Morgan was the man for Petrol Olimpija, as he led them in scoring with 20 points, while adding 11 rebounds, 4 steals and an assist. His valuation was 29 and he is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Teamplay is what put the hosts in front this time, as they had 21 assists and Igokea only 10.
