Story of the game: Once again we have witnessed that in derby games there are never any favourites. Cibona and Cibona have proven this in the fourth round of the season, as the hosts managed to eclipse last season’s ABA League finalists Cedevita throughout the majority of the game, but then the guests have come back and took the game into a dramatic overtime… where the Wolves have again proven their determination to prevail and eventually won with the final score of 100:94.

Key moments: Cibona have already had 14-point advantage on their record (49:35) in the 23rd minute, when Luka Žorić made a layup, but Cedevita have managed to make things interesting in the final quarter, when Džanan Musa’s three-pointer even took them ahead by 2 points with 9 seconds remaining. However, Luka Žorić took the game to overtime with 2 free throws. In the overtime, Cibona have prevailed, and the crucial moment was the three-pointer of Marko Tomas, which took Cibona ahead by 7 points (90:83) with only a minute and a half left to be played.

Man of the match: Nobody else but Luka Žorić dominated the court of Dražen Petrović arena once again, as he scored 29 points, had 9 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal, which was enough for a game-high valuation of 41! He is our man of the match.

Can't trick the stats: Free throws! Cedevita missed 6 of them (18/24) and had only 75%-shot during the game. If they scored only one more in the regular playing time of the game, they would have emerged victorious!
